Ferrovial-led DriveTN, in partnership with Transurban and Tikehau Star Infra, has reached commercial close on the I-24 Southeast Choice Lanes project in Tennessee, USA.
Under the agreement, the Ferrovial-led DriveTN consortium will be responsible for financing, designing, constructing, operating and maintaining the lanes under a 50-year concession, which will commence when the project opens to traffic. TDOT selected the DriveTN consortium in August 2026 to deliver the project. The consortium also includes Transurban and Tikehau Star Infra. The I-24 Southeast Choice Lanes project will introduce additional lanes in both directions along a 26-mile section of I-24 connecting Nashville and Murfreesboro. The new choice lanes are intended to offer more predictable journey times, including during peak travel periods, while also supporting improved traffic flow on the existing general-purpose lanes.
