The Council of Paris approved the selection of the consortium comprising Dalkia, Eiffage and RATP Solutions Ville for renewal of the concession contract for production and distribution of the Paris district heating network.
The Paris district heating network plays a key role in the city’s energy transition, providing heating services equivalent to those used by 450,000 homes and serving nearly one million residents. The new 25-year concession will commence on 1 January 2027 and will be delivered through a dedicated semi-public company jointly owned by the City of Paris (34%), Caisse des Dépôts (15%), and the operating consortium comprising Dalkia SA, Eiffage, and RATP Solutions Ville (51%).
Dalkia, a subsidiary of the EDF Group, focuses on investing in and developing renewable energy and waste-to-energy solutions. Eiffage Group operates across a broad range of business lines, including construction, property and urban development, civil engineering, metalworks, roads, energy systems, and concessions. Through Eiffage Concessions, the Group brings proven expertise in contracting, financing, design, construction, and the operation and maintenance of large, complex assets, managing a diversified portfolio that spans public facilities, transport infrastructure, renewable energy production, and buildings. RATP Solutions Ville, a subsidiary of the RATP Group, is dedicated to expanding new business activities in sectors such as energy, real estate, and telecommunications, alongside established operations including social housing through RATP Habitat, property management via RATP Real Estate, fiber-optic infrastructure through RATP Connect, and investment activities led by RATP Capital Innovation.
