The Greater London Authority (GLA) has issued a pipeline notice seeking a master development partner for a transformative mixed-use project at Royal Albert Dock in Newham, East London.

  • Site Overview: The development area spans 12 hectares (30 acres) and offers up to 400,000 square meters of potential development space.

  • Project Scope: The selected partner will be responsible for delivering a major mixed-use vision that fosters investment, innovation, and enterprise, unlocking growth sectors through a resilient and diversified economic offer.

  • Contract Duration: The estimated contract period is from 1 July 2026 to 31 July 2046, with a possible extension to 31 July 2056, totaling 30 years and 1 month.

  • Procurement Timeline: The formal tender notice is expected to be published on 4 July 2025.

  • Contracting Authority: Greater London Authority (GLA), City Hall, Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1ZE.
