The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN), together with the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Production, and the Municipality of Ancón, announced the awarding and commencement of construction of the Ancón Industrial Park (PIA) in North Lima, Peru.

The project will involve an investment exceeding US$1.2 billion and will be developed across more than 1,300 hectares. It was awarded to the Junefield Ancón Industrial Park Consortium through a structured and transparent process overseen by the Agency. The announcement underscores strong investor confidence and, importantly, renews public optimism by showing that large-scale, transformative developments are achievable when government and the private sector collaborate effectively. The modern facility is expected to benefit over 400,000 people by improving customs processing, storage, cargo consolidation, and commercial activities across the northern part of the capital. 

The Integrated Production Center (PIA) will accommodate over 200 companies, operating within an interconnected ecosystem designed to strengthen exports, freight flows, and national productive capacity. The launch of construction for the Ancón Industrial Park also signals the Transition and National Reconciliation Government’s firm commitment to advancing strategic initiatives that will help establish Peru as an emerging hub for international trade.
