The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) has advanced the Lima Convention Center (LCC) project and is preparing to award the concession to a private operator in Lima, Peru, by July 2026.
PROINVERSIÓN confirmed strong international market interest in the Operation and Maintenance of the LCC project, with the participation of at least six specialized, world-class operators, solidifying the project as one of the most attractive in the events infrastructure sector in Latin America. The initiative involves a US$151 million project under a self-financed Public-Private Partnership model, with a 15-year contract term. The modern 15,000 m² venue, located in San Borja, will feature 18 multifunctional halls distributed across eight levels, equipped with modern technology, soundproofing, and the capacity to host nearly 10,000 people for simultaneous large-scale events.
The project award is scheduled for July 2026, marking a key milestone in consolidating Lima as a strategic destination within the global circuit for congresses, conventions, and major corporate events.
