The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has partnered with a private entity to develop and operate a nursing college under a PPP model in Bandra West, Mumbai, near Bhabha Hospital.
The college will be built on a 2,327.42 sq m plot and run under a public-private partnership model. It is planned to admit at least 100 nursing students, along with offering various paramedical and allied technical courses. The land will be leased to a private entity for ₹5.29 crore (US$0.56 million), with a nominal annual rent of ₹2,350 for a period of 30 years, during which the private partner will be responsible for constructing the college.
