The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) announced that the new Lambayeque High-Complexity Hospital is expected to receive its feasibility approval in December 2026.
This was confirmed during a meeting of the Strategic Projects Working Group convened by the Regional Government of Lambayeque, where key progress points were outlined, including the planned completion of the Medical Functional Plan by June 2026. This step is critical for securing formal project approval, which represents an estimated investment of over USD 350 million to ensure modern infrastructure and advanced medical equipment.
The future hospital includes the design, construction, and operation of specialized services, encompassing critical areas such as the ICU, obstetrics center, and operating rooms, in addition to hemodialysis, diagnostic imaging, and blood bank services, expanding healthcare coverage in the region.
