Hunt Sports Development has partnered with Peak Curated Development and VENU Holding Corporation to develop a mixed-use district on the east side of Toyota Stadium and the Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas, home of FC Dallas. The development will complement the multi-phase office project planned on the stadium’s west side, announced in 2025, which is expected to provide more than one million square feet of premium office space. Together, the developments will create a broader mixed-use destination around Toyota Stadium, serving residents, visitors, sports fans and businesses across the North Texas region.
The partnership aims to strengthen Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center as a key community and economic hub in Frisco and North Texas, creating a year-round destination for hospitality, business, dining and entertainment. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027. The first phase will comprise an approximately 290-room boutique hotel and more than 40,000 square feet of convention, meeting and event facilities. The development is intended to accommodate business travelers, sports fans, leisure visitors, conferences and entertainment events. The hotel will offer a full-service restaurant and bar, a rooftop bar and lounge, an experiential spa and fitness center, and a range of other guest amenities designed to enhance the visitor experience. A central component of the development will be a versatile convention and event center offering more than 25,000 square feet of dedicated meeting space, including a 15,000-square-foot ballroom that can be divided into smaller breakout areas. Designed for flexibility and year-round use, the facility will accommodate conferences and conventions while also being capable of conversion into a 3,000-capacity music hall, live entertainment venue, or other large-scale event setting.
The development reflects Frisco’s continued expansion as a rapidly growing community and an established center for sports, business and entertainment in the US. Since Toyota Stadium and Soccer Center opened in 2005, Frisco has strengthened its profile as a sports destination, earning the nickname “Sports City USA.” In addition to being the home venue of FC Dallas, Toyota Stadium has hosted major concerts, US women’s national team matches, FIFA World Cup 2026 training activities and 15 consecutive NCAA Division I Football Championship games. The stadium also supports the Frisco Independent School District, which played an important role in the public-private partnership that facilitated the stadium’s development in Frisco. A $215 million renovation of Toyota Stadium is currently progressing as scheduled and is expected to be completed in spring 2028.
