The University of Bath has issued a preliminary market engagement notice for its R7 Student Accommodation Capital Works project, aiming to construct approximately 960 student bedrooms along with ancillary facilities on its Claverton Down campus. This initiative is part of the university's strategy to enhance on-campus housing for first-year undergraduate students, aligning with its commitment to creating a healthy, safe, sustainable, and inclusive campus environment.
The estimated value of the project is GBP 100 million (US$ 132 million), inclusive of VAT. The anticipated contract period spans from 1 April 2026 to 3 October 2028, totaling approximately two and a half years. The university is seeking a delivery partner who shares its vision and ambitions for the successful completion of this project.
Interested parties are invited to participate in the soft market testing process by completing and returning the questionnaire available through the Delta eSourcing portal. The deadline for submission is May 21, 2025.
