Peru’s investment promotion agency (ProInversión) has launched a study tender for an upcoming public-private-participation (PPP) project to upgrade the Conchucos longitudinal highway in the Ancash region.
The process includes the project’s technical studies, such as preparing an executive summary, defining cash flow projections and physical targets, conducting social assessments, and developing a diagnostic report on the current infrastructure, according to the bidding documents. The project covers a total of 226 km, divided into three stages:
The route currently has pavement, drainage, and signage deficiencies, increasing both operational costs and accident risks for users. Bids for the studies tender will be opened on March 31, 2026.
