PROINVERSIÓN has been tasked by Peru’s Ministry of the Interior to structure a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for the operation and maintenance of the new Luis N. Sáenz National Police Hospital in Lima, Peru, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the hospital’s infrastructure, medical equipment, and non-clinical support services for more than 700,000 police personnel, retirees, and their families. 

The project is expected to serve more than 700,000 beneficiaries, including serving and retired police personnel as well as their family members who depend on the facility for specialized medical care. Covering more than 48,000 square meters, the Luis N. Sáenz Hospital features six above-ground floors, four basement levels, a helipad, intensive care units, operating theaters, and advanced medical technology, making it the principal referral hospital for Peru’s police force.

To advance the initiative, PROINVERSIÓN’s healthcare specialists carried out a site evaluation of the hospital to determine operational and maintenance requirements and to launch the studies needed to structure the project under Peru’s updated Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework.

The project encompasses the management of essential services, including hospital infrastructure maintenance, maintenance and replacement of medical equipment, food services, cleaning and biosecurity, waste management, and other services essential for the ongoing operation of the facility.
