The Peruvian government, through ProInversión, has launched a new public tender to select a private operator to operate and maintain the Lima Convention Center (LCC) with a 15-year contractual term.

This project, with an estimated investment of US$151 million, offers a strategic opportunity for international operators of convention centers, arenas, and multipurpose venues seeking to manage a premium asset in one of Latin America’s most dynamic economies. PROINVERSIÓN has released an updated version of the bidding rules, with comments invited until April 6, 2026, in line with the timeline aimed at encouraging private-sector participation.

The LCC boasts 15,000 m² of net floor space, 18 multifunctional convention halls distributed across eight levels and four underground parking levels, as well as specialized infrastructure for large-scale events, including support areas such as a venue management center, storage facilities, maintenance spaces, catering and cleaning areas, cafeterias, translation booths, and recreational areas. 

The contractual structure developed by PROINVERSIÓN is intended to enable the private operator to enhance the asset’s commercial performance, attract a greater number of domestic and international events, and optimize the use of the venue, in line with global standards for the meetings and events industry.
