Infrastructure Ontario and Metrolinx have released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the stations, rail and systems package for the Yonge North Subway Extension. The Yonge North Subway Extension will extend the TTC’s Line 1 subway service approximately 8 km from the existing terminus at Finch Station into the City of Richmond Hill. The project runs through the City of Toronto and York Region, including sections within the City of Vaughan, the City of Markham, and the City of Richmond Hill. The RFQ outlines the scope of work to include the design, construction, supply, integration, and commissioning of the following key elements:
