The National Infrastructure Agency, Colombia has selected Consorcio Dorada CSLE as the supervising company, which will be responsible for overseeing the construction of the La Dorada-Chiriguaná railway corridor under the Public-Private Partnership scheme.

Among the most important activities that the audit will carry out with the railway project are the contractual monitoring of the technical, economic, financial, accounting, legal, social, logistical, property, environmental, network, administrative, insurance, risk, operational, maintenance, safety, and quality management aspects of the railway infrastructure and operation. 

The PPP project was awarded for COP2.27 billion (USD567 million) to the company "Estructura Plural Línea Férrea" and will generate nearly 32,000 direct and indirect jobs, positively impacting 25 municipalities in the departments of Caldas, Antioquia, Santander, Norte de Santander, and Cesar.
