The National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) and the Autopistas del Café concession have delivered the construction of a channeled "T" intersection at the "Guayabal" intersection located at PR26+150 on the Western Trunk Road to the community and users of the Armenia Pereira-Manizales highway corridor.

With an investment of COP408 million (US$99,322.7), from surplus funds from the Armenia-Pereira-Manizales project, this project is being delivered while the remaining section of the dual carriageway between Santa Rosa and Chinchiná is being built, providing a definitive solution to the area's mobility problems. The Armenia Pereira Manizales project is part of the first generation of concessions managed by the ANI. This highway corridor connects the departments of Caldas, Risaralda, Quindío, and Valle del Cauca over 188.5 km of excellent road quality. 

With surplus project funds, the El Jazmín grade-separated interchange and 5.3 km of two-lane highways with one-way lanes were delivered, not only connecting the cities of Pereira and Manizales but also improving mobility in the Coffee Region. The Postobón intersection in Dosquebradas, Risaralda, was also completed. Lighting was restored along the Estación Uribe – Las Pavas section in the municipality of Manizales. Lighting was installed at several intersections along the highway corridor, and its operation and maintenance continue.
