The Sevenoaks District Council has issued a tender notice seeking a development partner for the comprehensive redevelopment of the Land East of Sevenoaks High Street in Kent, UK.
This initiative aims to rejuvenate the town center by delivering a new leisure center, constructing residential units, and enhancing public spaces, particularly the connection between the High Street and Knole Park. The Council has conducted feasibility studies and due diligence to explore redevelopment options. An initial concept design has been prepared; however, bidders are encouraged to propose their schemes as detailed in the Memorandum of Information available through the Council's portal.
A market engagement exercise was undertaken in February 2025, involving 11 suppliers experienced in town center developments. This engagement aimed to assess interest and gather feedback on the proposed redevelopment. Participation in this preliminary market engagement does not influence future supplier selection. The deadline for submitting responses to the Sevenoaks District Council's tender for the redevelopment of the Land East of Sevenoaks High Street is 20 June 2025.
