Muse Developments has signed a pre-development agreement with Wakefield Council to advance a major regeneration initiative in the city centre. The project aims to deliver over 2,500 new homes, commercial spaces, and enhanced public areas, fostering vibrant mixed-use neighbourhoods to support job creation and attract investment.
This partnership is part of Wakefield's Strategic Place Partnership, which includes collaboration with Homes England and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority. The agreement will facilitate the refinement of designs, the progression of site acquisitions, and the development of delivery strategies to accelerate progress and unlock funding.
The regeneration project is expected to include new residential and commercial developments, improved public spaces, and better connectivity, contributing to the city's long-term economic and social development.
