Plenary Americas LP announced that it has agreed to acquire Information Services Corporation (ISC), a leader in registry and information management services.
The acquisition combines Plenary’s infrastructure and investment expertise with ISC’s leading registry operations and technology platform to drive faster growth in Canada and the U.S. Plenary’s capital, partnerships and operational experience will support ISC’s long-term strategy and expansion. As part of the deal, Plenary will work alongside Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec to provide long-term funding, support ISC’s growth, invest in innovation and explore new opportunities across North America.
Under Plenary’s ownership, ISC is expected to become a key platform for expanding registry and regulatory services into current and new markets while maintaining strong performance in its core business operations. The transaction will proceed by way of a court-approved Plan of Arrangement pursuant to Section 14-24 of the Saskatchewan Business Corporations Act, and is subject to customary closing conditions, including shareholder and regulatory approvals, with closing anticipated in Q3.
