PROINVERSIÓN and the Urban Transport Authority for Lima and Callao (ATU) signed a collaboration agreement marking the beginning of the initial phase of Lines 3 and 4 of the Lima and Callao Metro.

This agreement marks the beginning of the technical studies that will underpin one of the country's most significant urban transport initiatives, to be developed through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The studies will encompass engineering assessments, technical evaluations, land acquisition and management planning, identification of utility and infrastructure conflicts, and other analyses required to determine the most suitable implementation approach. These activities represent the initial stage in preparing the technical inputs needed for project development, enabling subsequent project structuring once the procedures and requirements established under the applicable regulatory framework have been fulfilled.
