The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) announced that three specialized operators have advanced to the final stage of the process to assume the operation and management of the Lima Convention Center. 

These companies are GL Events Venues, Consorcio Centro de Convenciones - Exposistemas, and Grupo Heroica SAS. They passed the technical, legal, and financial evaluation required by the bidding process, thus qualifying to compete for the project. The project will be implemented as a self-financed Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with an investment of US$151 million, aimed at providing specialized management to establish Lima as a premier destination for international congresses, conventions, trade fairs, and corporate events. Situated in San Borja, the Lima Convention Center features more than 15,000 square meters of space, 18 multifunctional halls across eight levels, and can host up to 10,000 attendees at the same time.

Awarding the contract will bring international expertise to the management of this strategic facility while strengthening Peru's MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry. The sector attracts high-value visitors, supports the hotel, restaurant, transportation, and retail industries, and enhances the country's global profile.
