PROINVERSIÓN signed agreements with the Regional Government of Lambayeque in Chiclayo, Peru, to assume responsibility for promoting the Olmos Project and the Lambayeque Industrial Park, including leading private investment promotion, technical studies, and PPP structuring for the projects.

Under the agreement, the Regional Government of Lambayeque has appointed PROINVERSIÓN as the private investment promotion agency responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing the process to attract private investment for the temporary operation and maintenance of the Olmos Project, which is owned by the regional government. Additionally, PROINVERSIÓN will lead the Limón Dam expansion public-private partnership (PPP), taking charge of its planning, programming, formulation, structuring, and transaction stages, as well as part of the execution phase.

The Lambayeque Industrial Park project is a strategic initiative aimed at transforming the region's productive base by promoting industrial development and economic diversification. Under the agreement, the Regional Government of Lambayeque has tasked PROINVERSIÓN with preparing the required technical studies and serving as the Private Investment Promotion Agency (OPIP), responsible for leading the private investment promotion process, approving key project milestones, and developing a strategy to attract private investors. 

The initiative aims to lay the groundwork for the development of a modern industrial platform that will contribute to strengthening regional competitiveness, attracting investment, and boosting productive activity in northern Peru.
