The Private Investment Promotion Agency (PROINVERSIÓN) received the technical and financial proposals for the "Operation and Maintenance of the Villa El Salvador Emergency Hospital" (HEVES).

This project will benefit more than 780,000 residents of the southern part of Lima (Villa El Salvador, Lurín, Pachacamac, Pucusana, and five other resorts). The following prequalified bidders participated in the process: Infrastructure Project Concessionaire Branch of Peru and Ortiz Construcciones y Proyectos S.A. Receiving the proposals marks a key milestone in advancing the hospital’s operation and maintenance phase. The project aims to enhance infrastructure, upgrade equipment, and ensure comprehensive upkeep, while continuing to offer free healthcare services. Under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, the selected private partner will manage HEVES’s general services for 16 years, with the initiative valued at approximately US$284 million.

PROINVERSIÓN is promoting this project on behalf of the Ministry of Health (MINSA). It involves managing only the Bata Gris services, that is, the operation and maintenance of general services: food, laundry, cleaning, security and comprehensive surveillance, maintenance of the building, facilities, and electromechanical equipment associated with the infrastructure, as well as the timely replacement of clinical and non-clinical equipment. With these services, provided by a private operator, hospital users will receive timely, high-quality care, with optimal hospital infrastructure and cutting-edge biomedical equipment that is always operational, safe, and reliable.
